Shoot going well

So far the shoot is going well. I'm using a pretty old 1/4" mono portable tape machine that is actually pretty cool. I've got a good boom operator that is taking care of a good bit of the work really, and i'm able to just monitor levels and make decisions. It's a neat little film and i can't wait until post to put this together.

The only problem so far was a power outage due to a roommate using a hairdryer. Oddly enough we are 2 hours in front of schedule.

At a Video Shoot

So i'm at a video shoot doing the audio work this morning. Sunday morning, 730 curtain call or whatever they call it. I think will be fun, but damn it's early for me.

I have realized that i know nothing about film. This will be a good learning experience. Thankfully i know sound.
